Potato purge from Thursday's night out with friends. Probably going out again tonight, but low key, different person unless they flake, which they might. I'm good either way.

Long walk last night, slight drama, life goes on. Long days will be through September at least. Beats the alternative, and I am thankful for that.

One more day of movement and water ought to take us back down to the new baseline.

Love these flowers, but refuse to plant this particular cactus in my yard because it is nasty and somewhat invasive. People build fences with them. the thorns are about an inch long, they hurt like hell and the plant can go from being cut back to 6' in a year with the right conditions. And some other random stuff since we walked in some daylight. My hooded oriole is back. So hard to get good pics of him.

I don't recognize the inspiration for this particular rock if someone wants to help me out. I still think it's cool. More to come.
