Day 1 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
I will ‘try’ to ‘water fast’, during the day, for the next three days because, in the past, 3 days of fasting is the sweet spot where I always get big 2-3 pound weight losses.
However, ‘mentally’ this takes effort and requires ‘sufficient motivation’.
I have been able to find this motivation in the past when I was ‘obese’, and later merely ‘overweight’, but now I am just trying to add ‘breathing room’ to gain weight on my vacation.
This-is-not-much-of-a-motivation (sigh)
However, I will allow myself to have a protein shake at night. ‘Mentally’ this is MUCH easier than ‘water fasting’ 24 hours a day.
Also, I plan to 🏃🏾♂️ run each day. I think THIS is what will ‘get the scale moving’.
