Day 2 of a planned 11 days of mostly ‘no solid food’ fasting
Today will the hardest day. Tomorrow will be the second hardest. This weight reduction will come not from reducing calories, but, by reducing dietary sources that produce glucose.
My body requires glucose to ‘power’ many ‘processes’ and will begin to ‘consume fat’ as the days of low dietary carbohydrates start to pile up.
The rate I will lose will not be related to my calorie deficit. That ‘math’ will never work out, actually it won’t even be close. The majority of the weight reduction will come from ‘water’. This is still ‘weight reduction’ because it also represents a reduction in glycogen levels (produced by glucose).
The key to this experiment is to see if the rate of the reduction is close to the same results I have obtained in the past when I did a pure ‘water only fast’ in the past.
