Put in some effort to try to drop a couple of pounds this week. I do not think I have seen 110 in a month so it worked!!! Not that much exercise done. We had a huge blizzard and mostly I have been wading in snow every day but I have enjoyed it. Probably will do my first run in a week tomorrow. Today is feast day. Planning on eating lots of turkey. Hope Friday the 13th does not but any wrenches in my plan

Thanks Jenny. Yeah we had our Canadian Thanksgiving in October and I bought extra turkey since they are so cheap. Happy about it.

Well, done!!! I'm starting my turkey collection this week. I expect I will get one to cook right away and 3 or 4 to save. Cheapest meat of the year!

they released a full collection (gorgeous) of all the comics a couple of years ago. I wanted it for Christmas but Santa decided I wasn't good enough that year. I may search for it again once the holidays are over and the bills are paid. there's also a super sweet documentary on how deeply Bill Watterson touched different peoples' lives with this comic strip somewhere out there. and yeah, i'm a fan.
