Yes, passion fruit. They grow like weeds here. I can pick them up off the sidewalk on my walks this time of year. These came from a small produce market though.

In all fairness, Erq, how often do you actually see them in stores? Farmers markets, sure, but not at Safeway or Vons.

I only know what the actual fruit looks like from watching the Great British baking show. Someone was making a passion fruit curd from scratch. Never seen them in stores locally but maybe they don't grow well where I live..

SPROUTS has passion fruit once in a while and a couple of the Mediterranean markets in my area as well.

love it! hard to find good ones with perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. I love mixing them with yoghurt
